Yassen Batchev (CEO) Chairman of the board

After attending the University of California Santa Barbara, Yassen’s career started in the high tech manufacturing business, holding various management positions in a variety of different companies. Since embarking on an entrepreneurial career over 20 years ago he has applied his extensive market investment experience, in creating a number of businesses, including having just completed a successful property development in Brazil. His most recent accomplishment, is co-founding Steam Torch Inc. where he has been instrumental in creating a solar parabolic dish capable of competing head to head with fossil fuels.


Stephen Richards (COO) Board member

Stephen has 25 years experience within the Finance, IT & Commodities industries. After leaving school he first worked in the clothing business, importing garments from the far east for High St retailers. Since starting his consultancy practice, specializing in the IT & Finance field he has been asked to work for both Private & Public sector clients. Having successfully completed projects within the USA, South America, Middle East & Europe he brings along a wealth of international expertise. With a key financial mind, he has recently launched a business in the commodities field to take advantage of opportunities presented to him.
To relax Stephen enjoys watching rugby, especially his home nation at Twickenham. A difficult sudoku is always a pleasant challenge and helping out at his daughters school is always very rewarding.


Thomas Brooks (CFO) Board member

Thomas has been in the land development, petroleum based commodities and the entertainment industries for the last 35 years serving as professional manager, construction management partner, owner builder developer and most recently trading in petroleum products. During the course of his extensive development career has built for the commercial/retail/industrial and residential markets, with multiplex cinemas, retail strip malls, hotels, fast food eateries, single family homes, multi family homes & large scale condominium projects all within his portfolio. He was asked and served for 7 years as housing development director for a non profit organization in CA.
He has had the privilege of having his dime store westerns published and also produced feature length movies. Being a singer, songwriter and musician of Faith Based country music, he has just released his latest CD called ”Ridin The Line”. Tom is a devoted family man married to Karen for 24 years with 5 children & 8 grandchildren.


Kurt Malmquist (CLC) Board member

Mr. Malmquist graduated from the University of South Florida, with honors, continuing to the South Texas College of Law where he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He has received the highest ranking awarded by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, that of AV.
In his 25 years as a licensed attorney and trial lawyer, Mr. Malmquist has participated in numerous meritorious multi-million dollar recoveries against those who have caused damage to his clients. With a primary focus on personal injury, Attorney Malmquist's areas of practice also include wills, real estate transactions, and business law, leaving him an experienced and in-depth understanding of America's legal system and all of its complexities.
Mr. Malmquist's compassion and understanding for those who have been grievously wronged have led to numerous mentions for his Pro Bono work in the Pro Bono College on behalf of those not able to afford legal services.
Attorney Kurt Malmquist is fully licensed to practice law in the states of Wisconsin and Texas.
